Pet Terms & Conditions

To ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of all guests, In2thewild has a standard set of terms and conditions for those who wish to bring their pet to a pet-friendly In2thewild experience. Please read the following carefully before booking.

  • Pets are allowed only at pet-friendly locations.
  • There is an additional charge of $40 per stay, per pet, to cover additional cleaning and maintenance where pets are allowed. You will be informed of the charges at the time of booking.
  • If you bring a pet to a non-pet-friendly location, you may be charged up to $500 as a cleaning fee. Our non-pet friendly locations are usually working farms, and domesticated animals can risk the farm’s operations.
  • Pets include dogs and cats – any other pets may only be allowed by written request to reservations@intothewildescapes.com
  • Small to medium pets are welcome at our pet-friendly properties (under 12kg). Unfortunately we are unable to cater for larger pets.
  • You are responsible for your pet’s safety. Neither In2thewild nor the landowner is liable for injury to your animal due during your stay.
  • Pets must be on a leash (no more than 2m in length) while on the property for the safety of the wildlife.
  • Pets must be supervised at all times and must not be left unattended, especially inside the property.
  • Registered assistance dogs are allowed in all properties, even when where the property description states that pets are not allowed, provided that all guests comply with these provisions. You must notify us of the intended presence of any assistance dogs, with evidence of registration, prior to making a booking.
  • No more than two pets may be bought to any property.
  • The Pet Owner must provide all pet food and amenities.
  • Pet Owners must ensure that their pets are free from parasites and fleas before they occupy the house. Failure to do so may incur subsequent charges.
  • Pets are allowed on indoor furniture if a blanket is used. Otherwise, you will be charged a cleaning or replacement fee. A blanket is provided at most pet-friendly houses.
  • Pet Owners are responsible for picking up and disposing of their pet’s waste.
  • For health and safety reasons, pets must not be washed or cleaned anywhere within a tiny house (unless a designated pet wash area has been provided).
  • Pet Owners are liable for any damages caused by their pets. This includes damage to the property, surrounding land, landowner assets, and damage to or loss of animals (including both wildlife and livestock).
  • We encourage you to be very careful with your animal around wildlife and make sure they do not enter any wombat holes or threaten any animals.
  • The Pet Owner may be evicted from the premises if the pet is deemed noisy, disruptive, and aggressive or is the subject of any complaint/s from the landowner or representative.
